Real Madrid run up the score, win 10-2 against Rayo Vallecano

What an incredible game of football .Gareth Bale scored four goals, for the first time in his career, Karim Benzema added three and Cristiano Ronaldo two as Real Madrid routed nine-man Rayo Vallecano 10-2.
It was the first time they hit double figures in a La Liga since 1960, when they beat Elche 11-2.
Rayo started as the better side and held a 2-1 lead up until the 25th minute, but red cards to Tito and Raul Baena wrecked the away side's chances of success.
Real Madrid are now within two points of champions Barcelona, who wrapped up Club World Cup glory in Japan earlier on Sunday, but the bizarre nature of this rout is unlikely to bring many Benitez doubters onside.
