Spain's Mireia Lalaguna Royo wins Miss World title in China

Mireia Lalaguna Royo, a 23-year-old professional model from Barcelona, wins the beauty pageant in Sanya, China. Mireia Lalaguna, 23-year-old Spanish Model won after winning Top Model and giving an impressive speech in which she said "Just because I am beautiful on the outside does not mean I am not beautiful on the inside, too." She was handed her crown by the reigning Miss World 2014, Rolene Strauss of South Africa.

A total of 114 women competed. Miss Russia, Sofia Nikitchuk, 22, placed second, while Miss Indonesia, Maria Harfanti, 23, came in third place. Miss Jamaica, Sanneta Myrie, 24, and Miss Lebanon, Valerie Abou Chacra, 23, were in the top five.
Other top finalists were Hinarere Taputu, 25, from France; Hillarie Parungao, 24, from the Philippines; Tess Alexander, 24, from Australia; Trần Ngọc Lan Khuê, 23, from Vietnam; Lisa Punch, 23, from Guyana; and Liesl Laurie, 24, from South Africa

The Miss World contest is one of the oldest international beauty pageants was first started in the UK in 1951 by Eric Morley. The contest was introduced as part of the Festival of Britain.
It is customary for the newly crowned Miss World to spend their winning year in London and travel around the world representing the Miss World Organisation (MWO) and its causes.

Real Madrid run up the score, win 10-2 against Rayo Vallecano

What an incredible game of football .Gareth Bale scored four goals, for the first time in his career, Karim Benzema added three and Cristiano Ronaldo two as Real Madrid routed nine-man Rayo Vallecano 10-2.

Pep Guardiola to leave Bayern Munich at season end, Carlo Ancelotti to come

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola will reportedly leave the club at the end of the season, with Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti to replace him at the Allianz Arena, club Chief Executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said on Sunday.

The former Barcelona coach's contract at Bayern expires at the end of the season and he has been strongly linked with the Premier League club, as questioned continue to be asked of Manuel Pellegrini’s leadership at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola is rated as one of the finest managers in the game. Not only has he helped Bayern Munich to consecutive league titles, but in his previous role as Barcelona boss he assembled a team some consider to be the greatest in the history of football; he won the La Liga three times and two Champions League titles during a four-year stint with the club.

"We are thankful to Guardiola for all he gave our club and hope to celebrate more success in the current season," Rummenigge told Bild newspaper.

Barcelona won the Fifa Club World Cup

Reigning European champions FC Barcelona completed their fifth title in 2015 as they ran out comfortable winners against South American side River Plate in the final of the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup played in Yokohama, Japan.
