Five Premier League players earning £10,000 or less a week


To some players, joining the Premier League club is an opportunity to walk into a life of luxury. Some players will leave big clubs in other countries to join the Premier League irrespective of the position of the club - a mid-table or clubs struggling to survive relegation.

Though a lot of players in the EPL earn above the £300,000-a-week mark like Mesut Ozil of Arsenal and David de Gea of Manchester United - £375,000-a-week.

There are other players making impacts in the league but earn below £10,000-a-week wage. Some of these players are

Scott McTominay (Manchester United) – £10,000

Teemu Pukki (Norwich City) – £8,000
He is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Norwich City and the Finland national team.

Kortney Hause (Aston Villa) – £8,000
He is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Premier League club Aston Villa.

Matty Longstaff (Newcastle United) – £850
He is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Newcastle United.

Sean Longstaff (Newcastle United) – £692
